What Does it Mean to be an Ally in the work of Anti-Racism?

Most UUs are aware of the painful realities of systemic racism and how our country’s long history of racially-based forced labor and the cultural, educational and economic inequality that still exists. We recognize Juneteenth – as well as several other historical events of racial liberation. Most UUs also understand this work is complex and requires that everyone take part in learning about and acting on racial justice. So, what does it mean to be an ally?
