Tri-City Volunteers Toy Drive

Mission Peak UU participates in the Tri-City Volunteers Toy Drive each December. In the 2019 holiday season, our contributions provided or allowed the purchase of over 1000 new toys that were distributed to 625 local children.

Tri-City Volunteers is a non-profit organization that gives emergency grocery assistance and low cost clothing and household items to up to 16,000 individuals each month in the Fremont-Newark-Union City area. One of California’s leading client-direct food banks, the 1900 volunteers (plus a staff of six) also provide services that address the social causes of hunger. Many of their clients come from migrant families, are under-employed, or are facing unemployment due to disability, a lack of relevant work skills, or other barriers.
