In my earlier service endorsing Reparations I dealt with the needs of African-Americans and how those needs came to be. In this service I wish to focus on the effects of Reparations on the members of the dominant society. We are all affected and changed by what happens to anyone else in this world however near to us they are, whether we know of their existence or not. For Reparations we are the lesser if they do not happen and the better if they do, even if the monetary cost comes from us and we do not share in the largesse. We will bear costs both monetary and personal if there is no returning society to balance.
