Are any of us the same person that we were at this time last year? Is the world the same place that it was a year ago? Our old selves pass away, never to be seen again except in memory. Sometimes this passing is painful; sometimes it is a relief. Deciding what to hold on to is a matter of discerning what we want the future to look like.

As Unitarian Universalists, we talk a lot about living our values in the world. Today, we’re going to do a little check up to see how we’re doing on that.
