Prisons, in this country, play a unique and incomparable role compared to other first-world nations. There are important things that need to be understood about the history of our prison system, the purpose we expect them to fulfill and the question of how well they are currently working for us. This is a service that will ask some important questions and offer us some real ways we can make a difference.
