Toward the Beloved Community of Unitarian Universalism

Late civil rights activist John Lewis called us to: “Not get lost in a sea of despair and to never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.” How can our new UUA Article II values of Justice, Equity, Transformation, Pluralism, Interdependence, Generosity and Love guide us to widen the circle to serve the LGBTQ community, Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and faith refugees who have nowhere else left to turn? What does collective liberation mean for us as Unitarian Universalists?multicultural, multi-racial church we know our faith calls us to be?
