Through stories, music and ritual, we will recognize and celebrate when word of emancipation finally arrived in the remote plains of the nation, enslavers tried to keep the news from those whose lives and dreams they had kept captive. We will imagine the struggle they endured and recognize that the struggle is not done. Together, at Lake Elizabeth, we will all explore ways that we can help contribute to the full emancipation of every citizen whose full liberty has been withheld or kept conditional. This Juneteenth service will be held at Lions1 Picnic Area at Lake Elizabeth.

The Zoom link and Order of Service will be provided at mpuuc.org/zoom.
