How do we do ‘the right thing’ when we feel most ‘wronged.’ How we go about untangling our own array of past hurts and traumas and learn to be open to things – and people – that frighten us? These truths are at the root of all spiritual growth. And, it is what Religious Education tries to teach us. As adults, we like to think that we are doing the teaching, but Religious Education teaches anyone who is ready to be humble and pay attention to the 3 and 4 ft sages in our midst. This service is about the kind of truth that can only be unlocked by love.
